Investment für die nächsten achtzig Jahre bis zum Ende 21. Jahrhunderts
Der Planet verändert sich sehr schnell sehr heftig. Statt der apokalyptischen Annahme des Untergangs und der falschen Annahme, mit Mitteln aus der steinzeitlichen Lebensweise den guten alten Zustand von Vorher zu bekommen, die Idee, es geht weiter, aber sehr anders, als mit den Zivilisationen zuvor.
Elektromobilität wird nur das Spielzeug der Besitzenden sein als Drittwagen in der zweiten Garage, für eine lange Zeit. Es muss davon auszugehen sein, dass Kohle, Öl und Gas zur Gänze verheizt werden wird. Schon jetzt ist die Erderwärmung ein immer schneller werdender Selbstläufer. Es muss mit einem sechzig Meter höheren Meeresspiegel bis zum Ende des Jahrhunderts gerechnet werden. Architektur und Infrastruktur müssen ganz anders geplant und gebaut werden. Agrarindustrie wird in Hallen stattfinden. Der Anfang des Kapitalismus ist in Bodenbesitz begründet. Und Grund und Boden werden extreme Veränderungen erleben. Küstengebiete saufen komplett ab, ein bis dato ungenutzter Kontinent wird eisfrei.
Wie auch immer Menschen miteinander bis dahin umgehen werden, ich weiß um die düstere Variante, so wage ich eine naive Idee des Gelingen zum Ort, wo ich heute lebe. Abgesehen von schwimmenden Städten ist hier den Leuten nicht bewusst, dass Hamburg, Berlin absaufen werden, Köln wird im Morast stecken, die Kölner Bucht wird eine Riesenbucht am Atlantik sein, östlich wird Essen ein Küstenstadt sein, westlich Aachen.
Die Lokalpolitik in und um Düren ist sich noch überhaupt nicht bewusst, was hier passieren wird und welches Potenzial im Kreis steckt. Es wird diskutiert, wie das Braunkohlerevier renaturalisiert und für den Tourismus nutzbar gemacht werden kann, ob der Tagebau Hambach und Inden jeweils Seen werden sollen. Bis zum Ende diesen Jahrhunderts wird diese Diskussion sehr unnötig gewesen sein, der Nordkreis wird Atlantik in der exrheinischen Kölner Bucht sein. Düren wird Küstenstadt sein, eine Multimillionenstadt, wenn ein viertel von Deutschland überschwemmt sein wird, drei deutsche Millionenstädte nicht mehr existieren oder schwimmen müssen und das Nachbarland Niederlande noch ein paar Hügel bei Aachen ausmacht.
Düren hat Potenzial, der Tagebau Hambach und/oder Inden könnte der größte Tiefseehafen des 22. Jahrhunderts werden. Tiefseehafen Niederzier oder Langerwehe, wer weiß das jetzt schon? Ab dem Ruhrgebiet und der Eifel südwärts wird Grundbesitz unbezahlbar, ein Riesenteil vom Rheinland wird unter Wasser stehen.
Und wer meint, ich spinne mit dieser Idee, dachte das auch schon 1998, als ich von einer Autobahnbrücke über den Braunkohletagebau nachdachte.
Investment for the Next Eighty Years Until the End of the 21st Century
The planet is changing very quickly and drastically. However, how people deal with each other until then, I know the dark variant, so I venture a naive idea of success in the place where I live today. Apart from floating cities, people here are not aware that Hamburg and Berlin will sink, Cologne will be stuck in the mud, the Cologne Bay will be a huge bay on the Atlantic, to the east, Essen will be a coastal city, and to the west, Aachen. The local politics in and around Düren are not aware of what is happening here and what potential the district has. It is being discussed how the lignite mining area can be renatured and made usable for tourism, whether the Hambach and Inden open-pit mines should become lakes. By the end of this century, this discussion will have been very unnecessary; the northern district will be Atlantic in the former Rhine-based Cologne Bay. Düren will be a coastal city, a city with several million inhabitants, when a quarter of Germany will be flooded, three German million-inhabitant cities will no longer exist or will have to float, and the neighboring country of the Netherlands will only have a few hills near Aachen. Düren has potential; the Hambach and/or Inden open-pit mine could become the largest deep-sea port in the 22nd century. Deep-sea port Niederzier or Langerwehe, who knows that now? From the Ruhr area and the Eifel to the south, land ownership will be unaffordable, a large part of the Rhineland will be under water. En lugar de la suposición apocalíptica del fin del mundo y la falsa idea de que, con los medios de un estilo de vida de la Edad de Piedra, se puede recuperar el buen estado de antes, la idea es que seguirá adelante, pero de una manera muy diferente a las civilizaciones anteriores.
La movilidad eléctrica será solo el juguete de los que tienen poder, como un tercer coche en el segundo garaje, durante mucho tiempo. Hay que suponer que el carbón, el petróleo y el gas se quemarán por completo. Ya ahora, el calentamiento global es un proceso imparable cada vez más rápido. Hay que contar con un nivel del mar sesenta metros más alto para el final del siglo. La arquitectura y la infraestructura deben planificarse y construirse de forma totalmente diferente. La agricultura industrial tendrá lugar en pabellones. El comienzo del capitalismo se basa en la propiedad de la tierra. Y la tierra y el suelo experimentarán cambios extremos. Las zonas costeras se hundirán por completo, y un continente que hasta ahora no se utilizaba quedará libre de hielo.
Independientemente de cómo se relacionen las personas entre sí hasta entonces, yo conozco la variante oscura, pero me atrevo a presentar una idea ingenua de éxito en el lugar donde vivo hoy. Aparte de las ciudades flotantes, la gente de aquí no es consciente de que Hamburgo y Berlín se hundirán, que Colonia quedará atascada en el fango, que la bahía de Colonia será una gran bahía en el Atlántico, que al este, Essen será una ciudad costera, y al oeste, Aquisgrán.
La política local en y alrededor de Düren no es consciente de lo que va a ocurrir aquí y de qué potencial tiene el distrito. Se está debatiendo cómo se puede renaturalizar la zona minera de lignito y hacerla utilizable para el turismo, si las minas a cielo abierto de Hambach e Inden deben convertirse en lagos. Para el final de este siglo, este debate habrá sido innecesario, y el norte del distrito será el Atlántico en la antigua bahía del Rin en Colonia. Düren será una ciudad costera, una ciudad multimillonaria, cuando una cuarta parte de Alemania estará inundada, tres grandes ciudades alemanas dejarán de existir o tendrán que flotar, y el país vecino, los Países Bajos, no será más que algunas colinas cerca de Aquisgrán.
Düren tiene potencial, y la mina a cielo abierto de Hambach y/o Inden podría convertirse en el mayor puerto de aguas profundas del siglo XXII. Puerto de aguas profundas de Niederzier o Langerwehe, ¿quién lo sabe ahora? A partir de la región del Ruhr y de la Eifel hacia el sur, la propiedad del suelo será inasequible, y una gran parte del Rinland estará bajo el agua.
Y quien piense que estoy loco con esta idea, ya lo pensaba en 1998, cuando miraba desde un puente de una autopista hacia la mina a cielo abierto.
Investissement pour les 80 prochaines années, jusqu'à la fin du 21e siècle
La planète change très rapidement et de manière très drastique. Au lieu de l'hypothèse apocalyptique de la fin du monde et de l'idée fausse que l'on peut revenir au bon vieux temps en utilisant des moyens tirés d'un mode de vie de l'âge de pierre, l'idée est que la vie continuera, mais de manière très différente de celle des civilisations précédentes.
L'électromobilité ne sera qu'un jouet pour les riches, une troisième voiture dans le deuxième garage, pendant longtemps. Il faut s'attendre à ce que le charbon, le pétrole et le gaz soient entièrement utilisés. L'augmentation de la température de la Terre est déjà un processus auto-entretenu qui s'accélère. Il faut s'attendre à une élévation du niveau de la mer de soixante mètres d'ici la fin du siècle. L'architecture et les infrastructures doivent être planifiées et construites de manière très différente. L'agriculture aura lieu dans des halles. Le début du capitalisme est basé sur la propriété foncière. Et les terres subiront des changements extrêmes. Les zones côtières seront complètement submergées, et un continent jusqu'alors inutilisé deviendra libre de glace.
Quel que soit le comportement des êtres humains d'ici là, je connais la version sombre, mais je me permets de faire une idée naïve de succès, en me concentrant sur l'endroit où je vis aujourd'hui. En dehors des villes flottantes, les gens ne sont pas conscients ici que Hambourg et Berlin seront submergés, que Cologne sera prise dans la tourbe, que la baie de Cologne deviendra une immense baie sur l'Atlantique, et que vers l'est, Essen sera une ville côtière, et vers l'ouest, Aix-la-Chapelle.
La politique locale de Düren et de ses environs n'est pas du tout consciente de ce qui va se passer ici et du potentiel dont la région dispose. On discute de la manière dont la zone minière à ciel ouvert peut être renaturée et rendue utilisable pour le tourisme, et de savoir si les mines à ciel ouvert de Hambach et d'Inden doivent devenir des lacs. D'ici la fin du siècle, cette discussion aura été tout à fait inutile, la région nord sera l'Atlantique, dans l'ancienne baie rhénane de Cologne. Düren sera une ville côtière, une mégapole, si un quart de l'Allemagne sera inondé, trois grandes villes allemandes n'existeront plus ou devront flotter, et que le pays voisin, les Pays-Bas, ne constituera plus qu'un ensemble de collines près d'Aix-la-Chapelle.
Düren a du potentiel. La mine à ciel ouvert de Hambach et/ou d'Inden pourrait devenir le plus grand port en eau profonde du 22e siècle. Port en eau profonde de Niederzier ou de Langerwehe, qui peut le dire maintenant ? À partir de la région de la Ruhr et de l'Eifel, vers le sud, la propriété foncière deviendra inabordable, et une grande partie de la Rhénanie sera sous l'eau.
Et ceux qui pensent que je délire avec cette idée, l'ont déjà pensé en 1998, lorsque je pensais à un pont autoroutier au-dessus de la mine à ciel ouvert.
